Hey, I’m Massimiliano — founder of Mariwaze.

I spent over a decade producing and directing documentaries for the BBC, Channel 4, VICE, A&E and more. It was wild, eye-opening, and at times deeply disillusioning. I saw the power of story—and also its limits.

That’s when I started turning inward. I began to explore what would happen if we used story not just to inform, but to transform. What if media, somatic awareness, and shared experience could actually shift how we live, relate, and create culture?

Mariwaze was born from a simple question: what if stories, bodies, and collective wisdom could help us remember how to live?

We design powerful events, immersive experiences, and films that help people reconnect—with themselves, with each other, and with the Earth. Collaborating with a diverse circle of masters—samurai, Sufi, scientists, artists—we translate timeless wisdom into formats that speak directly to the challenges of modern life and work.

Our mission is to create a more humane and connected world by weaving embodied practices, ancestral knowledge, and transformative storytelling into daily life and the workplace.
