About

Mariwaze is an Impact Media Story Studio. We develop cinematic works that function as long-arc cultural infrastructure.

We are not an NGO, agency, production service, or impact communications studio. We are not content-led, volume-driven, or campaign-based. We do not sell visibility. We do not manufacture narratives.

We exist to steward stories that cannot be rushed, extracted, or instrumentalised. Film is the tool. The real work lives in trust, relationships, legitimacy, and continuity over time.

Director — Producer — Founder of Mariwaze

Massimiliano Bulgheroni

Massimiliano Bulgheroni is a documentary filmmaker and producer working across land, sovereignty, spiritual practice, and human transformation. His work is built on long-term relationships with communities and individuals, not institutional briefs, not content calendars.

Born in Italy, based in London, Massi founded Mariwaze as a structure to protect the kind of filmmaking that requires years of proximity, earned trust, and editorial independence. The studio operates internationally across India, North America, the Middle East, Egypt, and Europe.

Before Mariwaze, Massi worked across documentary, branded content, and visual storytelling for international clients. He moved into independent long-form work because the stories that mattered most couldn’t survive inside those structures.

His current slate spans Indigenous sovereignty on the US-Canada border, pilgrimage and devotion across India, soldier rehabilitation in Israel, sacred site documentation in Egypt, and the intersection of ancient wisdom with contemporary crisis.
